Celebrating 60 years of enriching New York’s musical community, Bloomingdale School of Music is the Upper West Side's premier destination for music education. Serving generations of families, Bloomingdale offers lessons and classes for students of all ages and skill levels—from early childhood to adult learners, and beginners to college prep. Our expert, vetted faculty of professional musicians provides instruction in over 20 instruments across multiple genres, ensuring a personalized and tailored approach to each student’s needs. Private lessons, beginner group classes, string orchestras, vocal ensembles, jazz ensembles, music theory, and more are available to help students grow and excel.
