Anyone interested in becoming a NYC teacher should contact the Division of Human Resources recruitment counselors at 1-800-TEACH NY to make an appointment to review their qualifications. If you have New York State certification you are eligible for a New York City license.
The Office of Human Resources is located at 65 Court Street; Brooklyn, NY. You will be asked to provide the appropriate credentials (college transcripts, a copy of your degree) as well as have your fingerprints processed (fee required).
