THE WINTER CONFERENCE WILL BE TAKING PLACE IN ROCHESTER, NY NOVEMBER 29-DECEMBER 2. If you are already a member of NYSSMA, you will be mailed an application form, as well as finding it in their newsletters. The NYC Dept. of Education generally provides a free coach bus for the students participating and any NYC educator that wish to attend the conference. RSVP information will be posted at a later time.

If you would like to attend the conference, please apply ASAP for time off with your Principal. In most cases, they will approve this personal staff development. In some cases, you might be able to be partially reimbursed through various sources (PTA, Regional Office, etc.) for some of the related expenses (ex. conference fee).
